How can we can engage Paramount+ fans with sports content, and keep sports fans engaged with Paramount+ content?
For 18+ weeks of the NFL preseason, regular season, playoffs, and Super Bowl LVIII we leveraged weekly organic social content, live coverage, and cross-company support from Paramount Global brands to build, nurture, and engage our growing sports fandom. These efforts combined to establish P+ as a press-worthy NFL conversation leader, ultimately positioning it as the most entertaining place for American Football.
LAS VEGAS, the PARAMOUNT+ WAY
We executed an Instagram-focused onsite coverage strategy that gives P+ fans tiered levels of access to Super Bowl LVIII and the scene in Vegas.
We covered Paramount Global activations, NFL events, and more, rewarding our viewers with more exclusive access and “personalized” experiences based on their level of engagement with the P+ brand handle (Main Handle, Broadcast Channels).
The Broadcast Channel accumulated over 5K members during the week of Super Bowl LVIII with appearances from Taylor Hale, Phil Keoghan, JJ Watt, Thierry Henry, and more.
